Sue called me to let me know that Ed passed. Ed and I met in Miss Bell's 5th grade homeroom class. The family adopted me after awhile and I considered Twig as a brother. We went to the NY Boat show every year with his father and got in an hour before opening. Ed introduced me to the game of golf since both he and his father played. Ed always had a dog---Golden Retrievers through the years. He taught me how to play chess using a beautiful wood board he made in the shop at school. Ed was talented at many things. He raised a wonderful family and developed the four acre estate in Monson where he loved to work, and later bought a beautiful vacation place on Lake Champlain. He was steadfastly honest and stood up for what he believed was right. I always admired that trait and I will miss him. Now he has joined the eternal universe as the stardust we are all made of. May God take care of Ed and all he left on earth. Lance Roepe, San Jose, CA
