Elaine P (Rogers) Nothe

Monson-Elaine P. (Rogers) Nothe, 91, died Monday, July 24, 2017 surrounded by love of family.  Elaine was born February 14, 1926 to the late Wilfred E. and Lillian (Parker) Rogers in Bronx, New York.  She was a graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.  Mrs. Nothe retired from Monson High School in 1988 after 18 years of teaching home economics. She was a member of First Church of Monson, Congregational, a member of the Hearts Willing Club at First Church and a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the Palmer Grange #241, Monson Senior Center and a honorary member of Monson Home for Aged People.

Elaine was per-deceased by her husband, Donald F. Nothe in 2003.  She leaves two sons Eldon R. Nothe and his wife Mary of Monson and Duane F. Nothe of Gillette, Wy; two daughters Donna Nothe Choiniere and her husband Joseph of Hubbardston, MA and Diana Nothe Taylor and her husband Michael of Monson; eleven grandchildren, Rebecca, Adam, Aaron, Paul, Jacob, Brieanna, Jonah, Ethan, Ashley, Megan and Darius and 17 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 7, 2017 at 11am in the First Church of Monson, 5 High St. Monson, MA.  Burial will be private.
