Judith E (Spinn) Porth

Monson- Judith E. (Spinn) Porth, 60, died Saturday, July 1, 2017 surrounded by the love of family.  Jude was born April, 13, 1957 in Texas City, TX,  to the late Charles W. and Thelma A. (Corn) Spinn.  She grew up in Springfield and has lived in Monson for more than 30 years. She was a graduate of Springfield Technical Community College and worked for many years in area banks before beginning to work in the Monson School System.  Jude was very active with volunteering.  She was a past president of the Massachusetts PTA and Destination Imagination Coordinator.

Jude leaves her husband of 37 years, Bodo K. Porth and their children Dane E. Porth of Monson and Brigette M. Porth of Monson.  She also leaves her brother; William and sisters; Peg and Margaret.  Jude was predeceased by her parents and a brother Steven.


All services are private and have been entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home of Monson.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Massachusetts Destination Imagination "MADI," which is a non-profit for local community youth.
