Biography

Monson- Robert A. Gregoire, 75, died Monday September 21, 2015. Bob was born in Southbridge, April 11, 1940 to the late Alphonse and Edna Gregoire. He had been a longtime resident of Monson before retiring and residing in Stuart, Florida. Bob was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He also was an Antique dealer and operated Craft and Collectable Corner in Monson from 1979-2005. He was a member of the local car club in Stuart, Florida and was very proud of his 1953 Chevy pick-up truck.

Bob leaves his wife of 55 years Carol A. (Hermanson) Gregoire; a son Alan R Gregoire of Monson; a daughter Wendy L Blanchard of Monson; a brother Richard Gregoire and his wife Joan of Wildwood, FL; four grandchildren, Ciera and Alberto Vega, Justin Gregoire, Alysia Gregoire, Tyler Gregoire and seven great grandchildren. Bob was pre-deceased by his son in-law Bill Blanchard.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 5-8pm at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. in Monson. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 beginning at 12 noon at Miller Memorial Park located on Hovey Road in Monson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Miller Memorial Association 221 Hovey Road Monson, MA 01057.
