Ruth L (Lawson) Morgan

Wales-Ruth (Lawson) Morgan, 93, of Wales, MA passed away March 13, 2018. She was the daughter of Herbert Lawson and Inez (Neagus) Lawson, born December 22, 1924 in New Bedford, MA.

Ruth was predeceased by husband George in 1997. She is Survived by children Jim and wife Brenda of TX, Bev and husband Jim Zissulis of NH. Grandchildren Allison and husband Jason Neatrour of WA, Zach and wife Ariana Morgan of TX, Jimmy Vaughn of TX, Jeff and wife Kim Walters of NH, Christy and husband John Ayer of NH. Step-children Jeff and wife Cheryle Zissulis also of NH, Dawn and husband Tim Lyon of ME. Also 16 great grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and survived by several nieces and nephews. Ruth is survived by sister Edith Woodruff of Oregon and predeceased by brothers Arthur Lawson and Tom Lawson.

Ruth graduated from Hitchcock Free Academy, attended Atlantic Union College and graduated from NE Sanatorium & Hospital in MA. Ruth was a Registered Nurse for several years at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs, CT and worked in MA. Also worked in real estate. She was a wonderful mother and enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was a long time member of Wales Baptist Church. Ruth will be missed by all who knew her.

Visiting Hours will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5-7 at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson, MA.
A funeral service will be held in Lombard Funeral Home, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10 am, burial will take place in the Spring at Wales #4 Cemetery, Laurel Hill Rd in Wales.
