Wayne A Stuart

Brimfield-Wayne Andrew Stuart, 78, died peacefully on Saturday, June 25 with his family around him at his home in Brimfield, Massachusetts from complications related to cancer. Born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania on September 5, 1937, he spent his early years in Indiana where he graduated from Hammond High School. 
 
Wayne went on to study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and the crew team.  He graduated from MIT with a degree in Economics and a minor in Chemical Engineering after which he went on to earn a Master of Business Administration and attend the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. After Harvard, Wayne worked at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York, before returning to MIT to focus on research, admissions and freshman advising. For many years he was CFO of Farm Credit Banks of Springfield, Massachusetts.
 
Wayne has been the head of the Brimfield Ambulance Service, a member of the Brimfield Finance Committee, and the treasurer of Massachusetts Agriculture in the Classroom.  He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joanne M. Stuart, his daughters Megan Aimone and Allegra Stuart, and his sons, John and Todd Stuart, and by his four grandchildren, Kayla Aimone, Claire Aimone, Mia Stuart and TJ Stuart.

All services are private and have been entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home of Monson.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Brimfield Ambulance Service 34 Wales Road Brimfield, MA 01010.
