Delia A. Kozikowski

1917-2008

Monson-Delia A. Kozikowski, 91, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Mary Lyon Skilled Care Center in Hampden. Born in Monson to the late Andrew and Bridget (Murach) Kozikowski she has been a life long resident here. Delia was a 1935 graduate of Monson High School and class valedictorian. She was an avid gardener, bingo enthusiast and loved to travel spending the summer months on Cape Cod at her brother’s home. She retired from C.F. Church Co in Monson after many years of service. Delia was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Monson and a member of the Monson Senior Center. She leaves her brother Edward A. Kozikowski and his wife Alice of Monson; a niece Pam Kozikowski-Norton and her husband Michael Norton and their children Brittany and Caitlin all of Monson, nephews; Dr. Stanley North of Leesburg, FL, Andrew Kozikowski and his wife Carrie of Monson, Michael Kozikowski and his wife Pam and their children Christopher and Stephanie of Williston, Vt. and great nieces Lisa and Lesley of Wilbraham. She was predeceased by a sister Emily Nietupski and nephew John Nietupski. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 30, 2008 from Lombard Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church and Burial at Bethany Cemetery all in Monson.
