Alice M (Ackley) Stockman

Monson- Alice M. (Ackley) Stockman, 96, a longtime resident of Monson passed away, Tuesday, November 20, 2018.  Alice was born in Worcester, February 22, 1922 to the late Willis S and Gladys I (Partelo) Ackley.  Alice taught nursery school and kindergarten for many years before she retired. Mrs. Stockman was a member of the First Church of Monson, Congregational.  She was a member of the Hearts Willing at First Church and was active with the former Rebekah's Lodge #169 in Monson.

Alice was predeceased by her husband John F. Stockman and a daughter Joanne Rice.  She leaves a son Randall J. Stockman of Palmer, eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  She leaves her sister Ruth Pikul of Michigan and Dorothy Raymond of Three Rivers.  She was predeceased by her sisters  Helen, Lois, Shirley, and Gladys.


A memorial service will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10am in the First Church of Monson, 5 High st. Monson, MA . 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to  First Church of Monson, Congregational 5 High St. Monson, MA 01057.
