I just heard of David's passing today; I'm so sorry I didn't learn of it sooner. I enjoyed every conversation I ever had with David and I loved the give and take with him. He was a gentlemen and he shall be missed. Kaye, I'm so sorry for your loss and through you, I thank David for his service to our country. May he rest in peace.

Dad...yes, Dad, I've been calling you that for probably 35-37 years now, maybe even sooner than that. Since Amanda was-my 1st best friend, like it or not you became my adopted Dad. And Rachel Worth, pain in the ass that she was-our favorite Sesame Street character, Angela-our words of wisdom that we never listened to, you were a huge part of my growing up, whether you knew it or not. From us girls having to hurry & clean up the massive messes that we made before you got home from the railroad to the AWESOME ghost rides that you would take Amanda, Angela, Rach, Cindy & me on up in the Brimfield forest & Santa's Land, to the times that you caught Amanda & I skipping school in the boat & never told on me...you were such an amazing DAD! Thank you for being there for me when my Dad couldn't, I love you & will miss you always!

David was a great friend for about 68 years of my life.
And he was a very good railroad man when we worked together on the Boston & Maine.
He shall be sorely missed....

David was such an icon in our little town of Wales! We will miss his knowledge and stories about the happenings in town; such wit he had. To Kaye and family we pray the Lord gives each of you comfort, healing and understanding.
