Agawam- Josette J. (Lauvergeon) Briggs, 87, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family. Josette was born in Fez, Morroco, February 12, 1931 to the late Louis and Renee (Williume) Lauvergeon. One of the things she loved most was spending time with her family.

Josette leaves her sons, Timothy Briggs of Holyoke; Gerald Briggs & Shannon of Jacksonville, FL; Phillip Briggs & Pat Scarborough of Englewood, FL; a daughter, Marie-Claire Ford & Harold, of Monson; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a great great grandson. Josette was predeceased by her sons Patrick Lauvergeon & Gary Briggs.
