Lucy Asencio-Velez Obituary

Monson- Lucy Asencio-Velez, 84, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 surrounded by the love of family. Lucy was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, February 26, 1933. She was a co-owner of Norcross Appliance in Monson for over 20 years. She was also a nurses aid at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford, Ct and the Monson Developmental Center.

Lucy was predeceased by her second husband Hernan Rodriguez Rosado in 2005. She leaves her daughter, Annette Royce Gehlhausen of Three Rivers; her son, Phillip B. Royce and his partner Samantha Snow of Monson, and her daughter in-law Dana Royce and her partner Nancy Brownfield; four grandchildren, Jacob Gehlhausen, Heather Royce, MacKenzie Royce and Phillip B. Royce III; her first husband Phillip R. Royce and her beloved dog "Pepe".

At Lucy's request a memorial will be held in the Spring at a date to be determined.
