Stanley Raymond Klisiewicz

Stanley Raymond Klisiewicz, age 63 of Monson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather died suddenly at his residence on Friday evening April 28, 2017. 

Stanley was born on May 13, 1953 in Palmer MA to the late Raymond and Adella (Janulewicz) Klisiewicz. He was raised and educated in Monson and was a graduate of Monson High School.  For 37 years he worked as an equipment operator for the Monson Highway Department, retiring in 2015.  He was a longtime member of the Monson Polish American Citizens Club and for many years served as its president.  Stanley loved gardening,hunting, fishing, music, and playing his guitar.  He also enjoyed scratch tickets, trips to Mohegan Sun, daily rides around town, trips to Conant Brook Dam, and spending Friday nights with his buddies. But most important in Stanley’s life was his family who he loved spending time with.  Stanley was a devoted loving Grandpa to his grandsons.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Nancy (Krupke) Klisiewicz, his two devoted daughters, Sara Slozak and her husband Christopher and Jessica Klisiewicz and her partner Angelo Gambino, one stepson, Daniel Putnam, two brothers, Kenneth Klisiewicz and Richard Klisiewicz, one sister, Deborah Beyor and her husband Steven all of Monson, two cherished grandsons, Jameson and Hudson, and he was proudly anticipating the birth of his first granddaughter, Gianna.  He is also survived by two brothers-in law Ronnie and Ernie Krupke, both of Springfield, one sister in law Gaylin Bingle of Monson, two aunts, many nieces, nephews and cousins and many dear friends.  Besides his parents, Stanley was predeceased by his stepson, Donnie Putnam in October of 2009.

Calling hours for Stanley will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd from 5-8 pm at Lombard Funeral Home, 3 Bridge St. Monson MA.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 4th at 10 am at the Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson.  At the family’s request, donations may be made in lieu of flowers to The American Heart Association c/o The Western Mass Region  1111 Elm St. West Springfield MA 01089.
