Theresa C. (Vieira) Hunt Rheaume

Windham, CT, /Wales, MA- Theresa C. Hunt Rheaume, 82, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019, surrounded by the love of family.  Theresa was born June 7, 1937 in Flores Azores, Portugal  to the late John E. and Mary (Travis) Vieira.  For many years she was a machine operator at Warren Woolen Mills in Stafford, CT.  She lived in Wales for many years as well as Stafford and Ashford, CT. Theresa was a communicant of St. Christopher's Church in Brimfield .  She enjoyed being outdoors gardening, camping and fishing.
Theresa was predeceased by her first husband, Homer A. Hunt in 1976 and her second husband, Thornton Rheaume in 1996.  She leaves her children Steven RJ Hunt of Ashford, Ct, Richard A Hunt II of Simsbury, CT, Jane G. Maudsley of Holland, MA and Loretta J. Hunt of Ashford, CT; a brother Edward Vieira of Orlando, FL; sisters,  Ines Viveiros and Mary Lou Ferreira of both of Fall River, MA; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  Theresa was predeceased by her siblings; Robert, John and Eric Vieira.
Visiting hours will be held Monday September 9, 2019 from 9-10:30am in Lombard Funeral Home. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be at 11am in St. Christopher's Church in Brimfield, MA, burial will follow at Wales #4 Cemetery on Laurel Hill Rd in Wales, MA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke 110Cherry St. Holyoke MA 01040 to help with veterans activities.
