Blanche K Hodge

Monson- Blanche K. Hodge, 91, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center where she had been residing for the last several years.  Blanche was born February 8, 1927 in Middletown, CT to the late Dwight and Nellie (Spencer) Hodge. Blanche lived in Monson for many years and worked at Blatchley's Printers for several years. She later cooked at the Monson Senior Center  where she was very active until moving to West Brookfield.

Blanche leaves her nephews; Matthew Blatchley and Donna of Monson, Paul Blatchley of HI, Claude David Blatchley and Barbara of Ridgeland SC;  nieces, Beverly  Hanks and Ron of Elloree, SC, Patricia Hanson of Corning, NY, Donna Gueffroy and Richard of Arkansas; niece in-law Irene Blatchley of Stafford Springs, CT;  great nieces and great nephews, as well as several great great nieces, great great nephews, extended family and friends.  Blanche was predeceased by her parents; five brothers, Walter, Dwight, Floyd, Howell, and Claude; four sisters, Helen, Marion, Alice and Beatrice and a nephew Andrew Blatchley.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018.  Visiting hours will be from 9-10:30am with a funeral service at 10:30 am in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson, MA 01057. Burial will follow at Marlborough Cemetery in Marlborough, CT.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Monson Senior Center, Main St. Monson, MA 01057.
