Brian, (aka: Dad, B.A, Junior, Mai Tai Guy, Uncle B, or just plain “B”), was a graduate of the Carpentry program at Pathfinder Regional Technical High School. For over 35 years, he owned and operated BA Builders of Belchertown, earning a reputation as a meticulous craftsman whose expertise spanned every facet of construction. His knowledge, creativity, attention to detail and pride in workmanship left an indelible mark on the many homes and projects he completed throughout the region as well as on each and every one of his customers.

In recent years, Brian brought his skill and dedication to the Hampden County Sheriffs Department, working in their Maintenance division. His contributions were so valued that a newly constructed Maintenance Building was named in his honor, a fitting tribute to his enduring legacy.

Beyond his professional achievements, Brian was known for his generous spirit and deep commitment to helping others. He was a man who created lifelong friendships with ease, known for his warmth and quick wit. His work ethic was matched by few. Brian created over the top memories whether it be on his home-made winter luge track or by preparing his secret recipe mai-tais and delicious meals for friends and family. He treasured summers spent at Little Alum and enjoyed fishing and vacationing with his family. Among his proudest accomplishments was riding in the Pan Mass Challenge for nine consecutive years, demonstrating his dedication to charitable causes and physical endurance.

B.A.Builders sponsored several local sports teams through the years, men’s basketball team for 10 years, bowling team in Palmer candlepin league, he participated with " Ludlow Loafers" golf team @ Chicopee Country Club for many years, Magic Lantern softball team – Palmer Men’s league and MassMutual Bowling league

Brian is survived by his loving wife, Lisa M. (Haley) Anderson, to whom he was married for 30 years, and their son, Benjamin M. Anderson. He is also survived by his mother, Mildred R. (Kanozek) Anderson; brothers Scott Anderson and his partner Nina Place, Martin “Marty” Anderson and his partner Camille Hoffman; sisters Kathy Pfeffer and her husband Rick, Bonnie Anderson and her husband Danny Plasse, Sherry Rapisarda and her husband Danny, and Lynn Richards and her husband Steve. Brian held a cherished place in the lives of Lisa’s parents, Thomas & Esther Haley as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Brian was predeceased by his father, Martin R.
