Bruce Raymond Cadieux, 63, of Wales, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Springfield. He was born in Palmer on November 1, 1962, to the late Leon Cadieux and Shirley (Pelkey) Cadieux.

Bruce had many interests throughout his life, but motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidsons, ranked among his greatest passions. He was a member and past president of the Thompsonville Moose Riders and enjoyed the friendships and time spent riding. He also enjoyed dirt bike racing, computers, and spending time with family.

Bruce owned and operated a tree company for many years. He was also a longtime member of the Wales Fire Department, where he dedicated many years to serving his community. His involvement with the department was an important part of his life, and he was proud to be among those willing to answer the call and help others when needed. He was also a proud member of the Local 4 where he spent many years working as a heavy equipment operator. Additionally, he ran the highway department of Wales for many years.

Bruce leaves his wife, Susan (Grimes) Cadieux; his son, Michael Grimes and his wife, Tara, of Ashford, Connecticut; and his grandchildren, Haley, Nevaeh, and Jordan. He also leaves his stepmother, Betty Cadieux of Wareham; his brother, David Cadieux and his wife, Sherry, of Belchertown; his sister, Nancy Cadieux of Brimfield; his mother-in-law, Theressa Grimes; brothers-in-law, Lenny Grimes and Stephen Grimes; sister-in-law, Lisa Grimes; his nieces and nephews, Brian Billow, Christopher King, Erin Cadieux-Torres, and Matthew Cadieux; and many cousins, including Andre Cadieux, Danny Cadieux, and Susie Cadieux. He was predeceased by his parents, Leon Cadieux and Shirley (Pelkey) Cadieux; his father-in-law Leonard Grimes, brother-in-law, Kenny; and his sister-in-law, Megan.
