Brimfield-Carolyn A. Stebbins, born on September 11, 1948, in Springfield, MA, passed unexpectedly on 24, 2025, in Palmer, MA. She was a dedicated member of her community and a long-time employee at Sanderson MacLeod in Palmer, where she worked for over 25 years. Starting as a machine operator, she retired after many years of service as an inspector.
A graduate of Tantasqua High School, Carolyn was not only committed to her career but also enjoyed a range of hobbies. She was an avid reader and loved spending time outdoors, particularly in her garden. Those who knew her would often find her on the sidelines supporting her husband, Dale V. Stebbins, as he played in the adult softball league in their younger years. Her love for family extended to her role as a loving wife for 44 years.
Carolyn was a member of the Wales Baptist Church in Wales, where she shared her faith and connected with others in her community.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Dale V. Stebbins; her brother, Gary Bennett and his wife Donna; her sister, Jean Heller and her husband Jim; as well as her grandchildren, Megan, Kristie, and Rachel; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many extended family members.
Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Estelle (Chickering) Bennett, and her daughter, Jan Morrison. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A private Graveside Service will be held in Brimfield Cemetery in Brimfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Carolyn Stebbins.
