Biography
Palmer-Catherine E. (Firth) Alden, 91, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Born in Springfield to the late William and Catherine (Murphy) Firth, she was a graduate of Commerce High School and then lived in Monson for 55 years before moving to Palmer. Catherine was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Monson.
Mrs. Alden was pre-deceased by her husband Richard F. Alden and a grandson. She leaves two daughters, Beverly Kenyon of Monson,and Debbie Kelley of St. Augustine, FL and a son, Richard F. Alden, Jr. of Stafford Springs, CT; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
All services are private and have been entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home in Monson.
