Catherine "Cathy" M Calkin

Monson- Catherine "Cathy" M Calkin, 74, born on September 28, 1950, in Massena, New York, passed away at home on June 7, 2025. Cathy recently retired after more than 25 years as an Inspector of Medical Devices at Karl Storz Endovision, Inc. in Charlton.

A very caring and energetic individual, Cathy brought warmth and enthusiasm to everyone around her. She enjoyed the thrill of skydiving and had a deep love for gardening and taking care of her home. Cathy cherished her family, work, friends, and neighbors, and had a special love for animals.

She is survived by her son, Scott P. Calkin, and his wife Sharon; sisters, Marie Glidden and her husband Paul, Joanne Marlow; brother Gerald Marlow; grandchildren, Taylor Calkin and Andrew Calkin; and great granddaughter Azula Calkin.

Cathy was predeceased by her mother, Mary K. (Swarczkoph) Marlow; father, Paul P. Marlow; and brother, Peter Marlow.

Visitation will be held on June 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lombard Funeral Home, located at 3 Bridge Street, Monson, MA 01057.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to an animal shelter or animal rescue of your choice.
