Monson-Christine Bronson, born on August 17, 1947, in Springfield, MA, passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 77. Over the past 15 years she was an incredible caregiver to her mother, and her husband. The thing she found the most joy in was spending time with her family and doing mom things or grandma things throughout all of life's special moments.
Christine found her greatest pride in her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Francis C. Bronson, and their children: son Shawn Bronson and his wife Kymberli of Monson; daughters Lori Dyer and her husband Mark of Feeding Hills, and Heather Hammon and her husband Scott of Chicopee. Christine's pride extended to her ten grandchildren: Kenneth Dyer, Matthew Dyer, Tyler Stratton, Christina Morgan, Joshua Bronson, Haley Bronson, Gage Costa, Charisma Hammon, Makayla Hammon, and Devin Hammon, as well as four great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, Vito Gramarossa, and his wife Seralind of East Longmeadow and her fur baby "Pepe". She was preceded in death by her beautiful beloved daughter Tina Stratton and her mother and stepfather, Virginia and Valentino Spinelli.
Throughout her life, Christine was known for her talents as an accomplished seamstress and tailor, spending many years at home sewing custom wedding gowns, which she took great pride in. She was also a production controller at New Visions for several years. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating and figure skating, activities that brought her much happiness. Christine was very handy at homeownerships skills and enjoyed working on projects with her loved ones while teaching them valuable life skills. One day she would show you how to use power tools next day it might be how to make homemade pasta in the kitchen on Sundays, how to hem a pair of pants, or even installing floor tiles.
Christine will be remembered fondly by her family for her love and dedication and the life skills she taught them. She was a very strong and compassionate woman that could conquer any task with success, and she instilled in her children that you do not have to be the fastest or the smartest person in the room you just have work hard and always treat others with respect, honor, and integrity. Her memory will live on within the hearts of everyone that she touched.
Services will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers or cards the family would be honored if you wish to make a donation to kindly direct it to the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield 34 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107 in memory of Christine Bronson .
