Daniel R Buzzell

Monson-Daniel R. Buzzell, 74, passed away March 23, 2022 after a period of declining health.  Daniel was born June 19, 1947 in Bethel, Vermont to the  late Ward  A. and Eleanor E. Buzzell. He was an Army Veteran and was honorably discharged.  Dan has been a longtime resident of Monson and retired from  RM Sullivan Trucking in Springfield after 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards.  His greatest joy came from spoiling his grandchildren.

Daniel leaves his loving wife, Joanne (Calderwood) Buzzell;  their daughter, Becky Kelly and her partner Kevin Houle; grandchildren, Jordan, Lexie, Sydney and Taylor; brothers, Ronald Buzzell and his wife Ilona, Wayne Buzzell and his wife Linda; sisters, Carole Dominick, Leona Atherton, Diane Ingram and Bonnie Phillips; sister in-law, Elizabeth Davio and family, and extended family Tina Buzzell, Steven, Tyla, Mason and Gavin and many nieces and nephews.  Daniel was predeceased by his son, Donald R. Buzzell in 2020.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 30th from 4-7pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson.  Military Honors will conclude the visitation.
