David J Gouvin

Brimfield- David J. Gouvin, 72, passed away July 2, 2024 peacefully at home. David was born February 20, 1952 in Palmer to the late Albert J. and Marjorie A (Murphy) Gouvin. He was a graduate of Palmer High School and for many years he was a machine operator at Jarvis & Jarvis in Palmer. Dave was an avid deer hunter and also enjoyed freshwater fishing in the local streams and ponds for bass and trout. His hobbies were woodworking and painting. He liked listening to country music, working in the yard and especially spending time with family.

David leaves his loving wife of 50 years, Deborah J. (Lovern) Gouvin; daughters, Becky Gouvin and her companion Jason Trombley of Palmer and Roxanne Gouvin and her companion, Rick Lafleche of Woodstock, CT; a brother, Mark Gouvin and his wife Celeste of Fall River; grandchildren, Dakota Gouvin, Sierra Lafleche and Riley Lafleche, two brother in-laws Jesse Lovern and his wife Candy and Rom Tallman as well as many nieces and nephews and his pups, Buster and Shorty. Dave was predeceased by his sister, AnnMarie Tallman and brothers Jimmy Gouvin and John Gouvin.
