Palmer- Donald R. Bradway,74, died Saturday, February 18, 2017 surrounded by the love of family. Donald was born November 13, 1942 in Stafford, Ct to the late Ellsworth and Mary (Norcross) Bradway. He has been a resident of Palmer for many years. He was a mechanic for area garages including Hitchcock and Tri County Express both in Palmer. He was an avid Nascar fan, he enjoyed going to tractor pulls and drag racing. He loved hockey and enjoyed working on his grandson's go-cart and helped him win a championship at Stafford Motor Speedway. Donald was most at home in his garage. No matter what it was, if it needed to be fixed, he could do the job.
Donald leaves his wife Louise A (Brodeur) Bradway; sons, Donald E. Bradway of Worcester, Shane S. Bradway and Elizabeth Wake of Wales, Daren R. Bradway and Rebekah Dupe Bradway of Fiskdale; a brother Charles Bradway of Brimfield, a sister; Bonnie Matos of Palmer; grandchildren Shawn Bradway and Alexis Coville, many nieces and nephews including Susan Hagen and Sherry Storey. Donald was pre-deceased by a brother Chet Bradway and sister Dot Bliss.
A remembrance service will be held at a later date.
