Listen to Obituary

Palmer-Donald A. Loglisci, 67, known to many as Don, was born on February 24, 1958, in Springfield, MA. He passed away at home on November 29, 2025.

He was a son, a brother, a husband and a father who was born and raised in Monson, MA, a town that he cherished. It was there that he attended school, was married and started his family.

Don dedicated his working life to the woods and the roads as a self-employed logger and truck driver. He retired from his career while working for Hull Forest Products in Connecticut. In his free time, Don enjoyed watching old western movies or hunting/fishing shows. He had an appreciation for nature and loved being in the woods or on the lake. Fishing, hunting, practicing his shooting, and just wandering the woods with his beloved dog were some of his favorite pastimes. But his true passion was his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Since he was a young man, you could find him riding with a smile.

Donald was predeceased by his mother, Adrienne M. (Bleau) Loglisci. He is survived by his wife Lynn Loglisci; his ex-wife and Mother of his daughters, Kim Barrett; his two daughters, Jennifer Loglisci and Crystal Macken and her husband, James Macken and his grandsons, Landon and Shane Macken. Don also leaves behind his beloved father, Joseph W. Loglisci, and his brother Joseph Loglisci, along with Joseph’s wife, Michelle, his nephews Nick Loglisci, his wife Nina; Steven Loglisci, his wife Toni, and his great-nieces and nephews. He will be missed by cousins, family members and friends.

Don will be remembered by his family and friends as a quiet man who was unyielding and headstrong but could “McGyver” any situation. He had an uncanny ability for creative problem solving or fixing things with whatever resources were available. He had a knack for making use of what he had and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home of Monson.
