Monson- Edward F. Kennedy, 75, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, July 31, 2018.  Ed was born December 30, 1942 in Springfield  to the late John E. and Elizabeth V. (Burke) Kennedy.  He served in the US Navy from 1962-1965 and has been a resident of Monson for many years.  Ed retired from Southworth Paper Company in Agawam after 41 years.  He was a communicant of St. Patrick's in Monson and everyday was a day in paradise at his home on the lake.

Ed leaves his beloved wife of 47 years Veronica "Ronnie" (Leclerc) Kennedy; their son, Joseph E. Kennedy and his wife Angela; their daughter, Katherine M. Kennedy; two grandsons Corey and Tommy Kennedy; his sister Martha M. Bowler and her husband Robert.  Ed was predeceased by his brother John E. Kennedy earlier in July 2018.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, August 7th from 4-7pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge street Monson.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 8, 2018 beginning at 10:15 from the funeral home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am in St Patrick's Church 22 Green St Monson.  Committal services with Military Honors will follow at 1pm in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Agawam.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association 33 Lyman St, #205 Westborough, MA 01581.
