Monson- Francis Cecil Bronson, born on September 13, 1943, in Newport, Vermont, passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 81 surrounded by his loved ones. Fondly known as Frank. Francis was a dedicated family man. Everything he did was for his wife, his children, their spouses, and his grandchildren. Francis took the greatest joy in spending time with everyone. Whether it was being a “Project Supervisor” on household projects while spending time with his wife or just sitting and listening to the grandkids talk about their adventures through life. He also loved hunting, fishing, and driving tractor trailer trucks. His hard work ethic was second to none. Even after being born with Polio, he wouldn't let anything stop him. He never let anything slow him down from reaching his goals whether it being a member on a ski jump team, a baseball coach, or hiking mount Ascutney in Vermont with his family. The joy and smile on his face shined brighter when we were all together. For most of his career he was a delivery driver for Hostess where he was known as the Twinkie Man because he would dress up in a giant twinkie costume to bring joy to children's lives. His children always remember the goodies, and that he traded with the Drakes delivery driver for special treats to bring home to his children. He drove large rigs for over 40+ years proudly and was a Teamster. Frank never let his disability define him and persevered through many of life's challenges. Francis was happily married for 59 years to his loving wife and devoted caregiver Christine who passed away 11 days prior. Francis leaves behind, his daughter Lori-Ann Dyer and her husband Mark of Feeding Hills, his son Shawn Bronson and his wife Kymberli of Monson, his daughter Heather Hammon and husband Scott of Chicopee. Francis’s pride extended to his ten grandchildren Kenneth Dyer, Matthew Dyer, Tyler Stratton, Christina Morgan, Joshua Bronson, Haley Bronson, Gage Costa, Charisma Hammon, Makayla Hammon, and Devin Hammon, as well as four great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother John Bronson and Wife Gail of Easthampton and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his beautiful beloved daughter Tina M. Stratton, his mom and dad Helen & George Bronson, and his brother George Bronson Jr. His memory will live on within the hearts of everyone that he touched. He is now with his beloved wife, and daughter in eternal rest. Services will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers or cards the family would be honored if you wish to make a donation to Shriners Children's Hospital at : Shriners Children’s New England, Office of Philanthropy 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104 in memory of Francis Bronson.
