George E. Gauthier
1936-2015
Monson-George E. Gauthier, 78, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015. George was born in Springfield to the late Louis and Flora Gauthier and has been a long time Monson resident. He retired from Zero Manufacturing in Monson after many years. George enjoyed camping, helping people and love gardening.
George was pre deceased by his wife Hazel L Gauthier and his son Richard Gauthier. He leaves his daughters Kim M. Harris and her husband Scott of Monson and Joyce Gauthier of Springfield; brothers, Tom Gauthier and Paul Gauthier both of AZ, Francis Gauthier of CA; sisters, Carol Grzybek, Rose Anguiano, Lorrie McGrane, Yvone Whiteley all of CA and Joan Bick of Utah; his companion Susan Snaith of Monson and many grandchildren and a great grandchild. George was also pre deceased by two brothers Hank and Louie Gauthier.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 4-7pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. A prayer service will be held at the conclusion of the visiting hours.
