Biography

Monson-Jeanette M. "LaLa" (Klisiewicz) Strycharz, 86, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Born in Monson, January 12, 1928, to the late John and Agnes Klisiewicz, she was a graduate of Monson High School and a lifelong resident here. Jeanette was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Monson. She had a deep love of family, enjoyed playing Bingo and swimming. As a young woman she had the opportunity to model for hair salons in New York.


Jeanette was pre-deceased by her husband John H. Strycharz in 2000. She leaves her son John S. Strycharz of Monson; a brother Frank Klisiewicz and his wife Helen of Monson; sister in-law Helen Klisiewicz of Monson and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette was pre-deceased by her siblings; Edward, John and Raymond Klisiewicz, Helen Kluceski, Jennie Kasascz and Barbara LeDuc.


Visiting hours will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 from 6-8pm at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. in Monson. A graveside service will be Tuesday, April 29th at 10am in Bethany Cemetery in Monson. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Monson Fire Dept. Ambulance Fund PO Box 335 Monson, MA 01057.
