Kevin "Kip" N Bacon

Springfield- Kevin N. Bacon, "Kip", 61, died Sunday, October 23, 2016. Kevin was born October 27,1954 in Ludlow to the late Raymond C. and Helen R. (Labelle) Bacon. He was a graduate of Monson High School and lived in Monson before moving to Springfield a few years ago. Kip was employed at Sanderson MacLeod in Palmer for over 32 years and was a member of the Day Spring Lodge of Masons in Monson. He enjoyed bowling and going to concerts of 50's music. Kip was also a New England sports fan, enjoying the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Springfield Falcons.
Kevin leaves his sister; Sue Jameson of Hampden, brother; Ronald and his wife Gale Bacon of Oakdale, MN, nieces and nephews; Mary Beth Lacross, Stacey Mack, Paul Mastalerz, David Bacon, Danny Bacon, Timothy Bacon, Tina Bahr, many grand and great grand nieces and nephews; his two best friends Christopher and Cameron Mack, as well as his beloved dog KJ and his bird, Babe.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson at 11am. Burial will take place Monday, October 31, 2016 at Hillside Cemetery in the family lot at 10am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104.
