MONSON – Lawrence “Larry” Table, 79, a lifelong resident of Monson, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at Vantage Health & Rehabilitation in Hampden, Massachusetts.

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, on December 25, 1946, Larry was the beloved son of the late Roland “Red” Table and the late Estelle (Ladue) Tupper.

Larry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maureen (McGee) Table, who passed away on February 14, 2024. Larry and Maureen were married on September 6, 1964. Together, they built their life in Monson, where they raised their family and established their life and longtime home.

Larry began his career working alongside his father, managing Red’s oil business and eventually taking it over. He later followed his passion for the open road, working for Orchard Trucking as a long-haul truck driver, and later owning Table Trucking, a career he enjoyed for many years.

In retirement, Larry found joy in the simple things in life. He looked forward to his daily coffee with friends at Woodbine, spending hours visiting with friends at the local laundromat, attending truck shows, and, most of all, spending time with his cherished toy poodles, Teddy and Coco, whom he affectionately considered his best friends.

Larry leaves behind his loving sons, Corey Table of Palmer, Seth Table, and Teresa Ferrentino of Monson, and Jonathan Table of Monson. He was the grandfather of six grandchildren: Gabrielle, Tyler, Mackenzie, Cierra, Sage, and Kyle, and the great-grandfather of four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Maureen, Larry was predeceased by his infant son, Joseph Table, and his daughter, Kimberly Table.

Larry leaves behind his siblings, Roland Table, Judy Bechard, and her husband Barry. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Table in 2016.

Larry will be remembered for his quick wit and his unmistakable sense of humor. He had a way of keeping conversations interesting with his dry humor, playful sarcasm, and perfectly timed comments that often left those around him laughing. Larry enjoyed a good story, a little back-and-forth with friends, and never missed an opportunity to share his opinion, whether it was asked for or not.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Vantage Health & Rehabilitation in Hampden for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Larry over the past several months. They would also like to express their sincere appreciation to Legacy Lifecare Hospice for their guidance and loving care shown not only to Larry but also to his family in his final days.

Calling hours and funeral services for Lawrence will be held at Lombard Funeral Home, Monson. Visitation will take place on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Monson.
