Monson-Mabel Millington, 91, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Wingate at East Longmeadow. Born February 11, 1922 in Burslem, England to the late Samuel and Matilda (Kelsall) Millington, she moved to the united States in 1948, first residing in Brooklyn, NY and then moving to New York New York. In 2002 she moved to Monson to be closer to her extended family. While she was living in New York, Mabel worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for a medical practice..
Mabel leaves her two Godsons and their wives, John and Nancy Parmele of Monson and David and Tricia Parmele of Boston and extended family Amanda, William and Grace.
