Biography

Hampden-Margaret Bracebridge Pauly, 95, died Monday November 2, 2015 surrounded by the love of family. Margaret was born in Worcester, MA, June 16, 1920 to the late John and Lillian L.M. (Thompson) Bracebridge. She was a graduate of Commerce High School in Springfield and has been a resident of Hampden since 1946. Margaret was a member of the Federated Community Church of Hampden. She was a legal secretary, and later a secretary at Green Meadow School in Hampden, a Scout leader and above all a loving wife, mother and extraordinary homemaker. She loved Cape Cod, lobster dinners, picnics and being with family and friends.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Lester F. Pauly in 1992. She leaves her son John L. Pauly (Marcia) of East Montpelier, VT; daughters, Sandra Morris (Richard) of Brimfield, MA, Leslie Bracebridge of Shutesbury, MA and Jennifer Martin (Steven Koeninger) of Wells, ME; eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11am at the Federated Community Church of Hampden with burial to follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Hampden. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Federated Community Church of Hampden, 590 Main St., Hampden, MA 01036.
