Biography
Wales- Miles R. Stebbins, 57, died at his home Friday, October 18, 2013, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born in Palmer, October 16, 1956, to the late Raymond W. Stebbins Jr and Elizabeth (Yedrysek) Stebbins Bradway. He was raised in Wales before moving to the small island of Islesboro, Maine. Miles was an estate manager and chef for many years on Islesboro. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a great chef. He enjoyed playing sports, especially in the Palmer softball leagues. He was a true gentleman, dedicated to his family and friends.
Miles leaves his wife Wendy (Toothaker) Stebbins, a brother, Dale Stebbins and his wife Carolyn of Brimfield; sisters, Faith Morin and her husband "Buck" of Wales and Sandra Beaudry and her husband Roy of Warren, several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2pm at the Wales Baptist Church, Main St. Wales, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to Islesboro Sporting Club, P.O. Box 51 Islesboro, ME 04848, or the Wales Baptist Church, Main St., Wales, MA.
