Nancy T. Lonczak, 62, died suddenly, Thursday, August 20, 2009. Born August 11, 1947 to the late Henry and Jean (Kulig) Lonczak she has been a resident of Belchertown for many years. Nancy was a graduate of Northampton Commercial College and worked for the Federal Fish and Wildlife Services where she retired after many years. She had a love of animals, especially dogs and horses. She enjoyed shopping and giving to others. Nancy enjoyed taking care of her yard and gardens and occasionally escaped to the ocean. She enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and Ice Skating.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents and a nephew, Chester J. Lonczak, Jr. and her beloved Doberman Lonnie. She leaves her brother Chester J. Lonczak, Sr. and his wife Joni of Bemidji, MN, a niece Stacy Lonczak of Surprise, AZ; a nephew TJ Lonczak and his wife Mary of Rutland, VT great nephew Tyler Lonczak and great great nephew Teddy Lonczak and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 26, 2009 beginning at 9am from Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Main St. Three Rivers with burial to follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 5-7pm at the funeral home in Monson.
