Biography

Monson- Neil Patrick (Pat) Naughton of Monson passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 following a brief illness. Neil was born on January 3, 1946 in West Virginia; son of the late Neil and Betty (Morris) Naughton. He grew up in New Castle, DE and attended William Penn High School where he was very involved in sports. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances (Boyer) Naughton; his son Joseph Naughton of Monson, daughter Jill Naughton Devaney and husband, Christopher, as well as his four grandchildren Patrick, Elizabeth, Jack and Ian Devaney all of Leominster, MA. He also leaves his sister Betsy Cycyk and husband, David, of Middletown, DE, his brother Michael Naughton and wife Rhonda of Baltimore, MD and his very dear cousin, Pamela (Morris) Mooney and her husband, Michael of Jacksonville, FL as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Neil was an avid New England sports fan and above all enjoyed time at the beach with his family. Funeral services are private and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Jimmy Fund/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute or Boston Childrens Hospital.
