Richard F Carr, Sr

Ware-Richard F. Carr Sr. passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 12 at his home in Ware. Richard was born in Springfield MA to the late Floyd Carr and Alice (Perrault) Carr. He was formerly employed by Pierson Industries and served in the Army during the Korean War. Richard enjoyed golf, motorcycling and fishing.
Richard is survived by his wife, Carol (Gifford) Carr of Ware, his sons Richard Jr. and wife Kathy of Monson, Mitchell and wife Barbara of Palmer, daughter Kathy Legge and husband Ken of Belchertown and a sister, Lorraine Carr of New Hampshire; three step children Charlene Kopec, Michele Pascale and John Foucault. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. He was predeceased by a son, Jeffery Carr and a brother Floyd (Sonny) Carr Jr of New Hampshire.
