Robert "Bob" Aldrich

Albany, Oregon/Monson, MA- Robert (Bob) Aldrich died on July 15th, 2026. Bob was born on December 8th, 1934 in Palmer, Ma. to his late parents, Rufus and Yolande Aldrich. Bob attended, and graduated from, Monson High School, Monson Academy and then the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a degree in Business Administration.

Bob is survived by his 3 sons, Chris Aldrich, James Aldrich and Joseph Aldrich, his 2 granddaughters, Arielle Aldrich Dunn and Alexa Aldrich and his 2 great grandchildren, Stella Aldrich Dunn and Leandro Aldrich Dunn.

Bob was employed by various companies during his working years including Uniroyal Inc, (Chicopee Falls Ma and Los Angeles Ca), Parco Inc, (Ontario Ca) and First Student Transportation Inc, (Tustin Ca). Bob retired from First Student in 2005 and relocated to Albany Oregon in 2006 with his wife, Joanne Aldrich, (now deceased).

In his retirement years, Bob was a member of St Marys Parish in Albany, OR. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, (connected to the St Marys Parrish), and a member of the Lebanon Radio Control Airplane club. His hobbies included cooking, woodworking, photography, history and flying his radio-controlled model airplanes.

A funeral mass will be at 11:00am, Thursday, July 30, 2026, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Albany, Oregon. 

Burial will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Bethany Cemetery in Monson, Massachusetts.
