Teri M Thomas

Monson-Teri M. Thomas, 66, passed away on April 8, 2026, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield after a short period of declining health. Born on September 5, 1959, in Palmer, Massachusetts, to Charles W. and Constance M. (Dow) Madison. Teri was a life long resident of Monson. She was a proud graduate of Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School.

Throughout her life, Teri demonstrated an unwavering commitment to her work and community. She began her career at Galas Drug Store before moving on to notable positions at Rite Aid and Walgreens in Monson. At the time of her passing, she was employed by Adams Hometown Market in Monson, where she was known not only for her diligence but for the genuine kindness she extended to all around her. Teri is remembered as a hard worker with a kind and genuine spirit.

Teri’s devotion extended deeply into her personal life. She loved her family, friends, work family, and the Monson community beyond measure. Her warm personality and caring nature endeared her to many, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication.

Teri is survived by her sisters: Martha-Jean Madison, Garrie Stoutimore, Robin Johnson and her husband Stewart, Melissa Rowell and her husband Gordon; her brothers: Scott Madison and his wife Laurie, Kevin Madison, Eric Madison and his wife Colleen; as well as her bonus siblings, Francis Lombard and Lissee Lombard. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, as well as her favorite pup "Nellie", all of whom she adored and cherished. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Thomas; her partner, Richard Graveline; her parents, Charles W. and Constance M. (Dow) Madison; and her brother in-law Robert Madison.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Lombard Funeral Home, located at 3 Bridge Street, Monson, MA 01057. 

Teri will be remembered fondly as a devoted family member, a trusted friend, and a compassionate soul whose spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and dedication remains an enduring gift to the community of Monson and beyond.
