Thomas F Parker

Monson-Thomas F. Parker, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on March 2, 1947, in Palmer, MA, he lived a life full of kindness and dedication.

Thomas graduated from Monson High School and furthered his education at St. Francis College in Maine and Western New England College. He had a fulfilling career as a lineman, retiring from Verizon Phone Company after more than 30 years of service, where he was known for his hard work and reliability. In his free time, Thomas enjoyed watching the Red Sox and other sports on TV, and he found great joy in watching his grandson play baseball. He had a love for Irish music and was most comfortable being at home, surrounded by the things and people he loved.

He cherished his family. Thomas leaves behind his loving wife, Margaret L. (Jenney) Parker, and their sons: Thomas F. Parker and his partner Lori Baer of Monson, Timothy M. Parker and his wife Betty of Oxford, and David A. Parker and his wife Tara of Monson; sister in-law, Vera Parker of Braintree. He was a proud grandfather to Sarah Parker, Ryan Parker, Noella Parker, Vincent Parker, Eric Cadieux, and Joshua Kichar. He will also be missed by his niece, nephews and many extended family members. Thomas was predeceased by his mother, Mary E. (Murphy) Parker, and father, Giles BJ Parker; brother, Giles Parker and a granddaughter, Becky Cadieux.

A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 27th, 2025 at 10am in St. Patrick's Church, located at 22 Green Street, Monson, MA 01057, Please gather directly at the church. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery on Main St at the Conclusion of the Mass.
