Wilfred J Fredette

Monson- Wilfred J. "Fred" Fredette, died Wednesday August 24, 2016 with family at his side.  Fred was born May 4, 1938 in Spencer to the late Jalma and Florence (Ethier) Fredette.  He was a graduate of David Prouty High School in Spencer and served in the Army.  Fred has been a Pastoral Minister with the Roman Catholic Church and has served in the St. Patrick's Parish in Monson for more than 20years.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Order of Alhambra and a past president of the Monson Rotary. Fred was very active in the St. Patrick's and St. Christopher's Church communities as well as the surrounding town communities.

Fred leaves his daughter Susan M. Davidson and her husband Stuart of Westport, MA; sons, Michael R. Fredette and his wife Gina of Plant City, Florida, Stephen D. Fredette and his wife Kristin of Hawaii; grandchildren, Patricia, Paige, Caylee, Brooke, Brian and Amanda.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Lombard Funeral Home in Monson from 4-8pm. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 2, 2016 in St. Patrick's Church, 22 Green St. Monson at 10am.  Friends are asked to gather directly at the Church.  Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Monson.
