His work and military service were important aspects of his life, reflecting his strong work ethic and commitment.

A devoted family man, Bill enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and cherished moments at home by the lake. He was an avid outdoorsman, finding joy in fishing and hunting. Bill is survived by his daughters, Debra Fernandes and her husband John, Diane Heck and her husband Mark, Donna Schoen and her husband Harold, Darlene Carroll and her husband Leroy, and Doreen DeLand and her husband James. He is also remembered by his brother Norman Henry and his wife Karen, and his sister Barbara Lyndsey.
