Monson-Conrad S. Conrad was a gun safety and reloading instructor.  For a period of time he worked as a security guard.

Conrad enjoyed antique cars, boating, camping and the outdoors, car racing, wood working, and pheasant hunting.  He was a member of the Springfield Sportsman Club, a pistol and rifle enthusiast and loved his dogs.

Conrad leaves his son, Scott Chaffee and Lisa Sotak of Springfield; a daughter, Wendy Karhan and husband Mark of N. Bennington, VT;  two grandchildren, that he was very proud of, Meghan Karhan and Joshua Karhan; a brother Norman Chaffee and Jeanette of VT.  He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Diane Chaffee and May Chaffee. He will be missed dearly by his family and many close friends he has had over the years.   All who knew him have very fond memories of him.
