David W Brothers

Brimfield/Monson- David W. Brothers, 71, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 surrounded by the love of family.  David was born in Stafford, CT, June 12, 1947 to Theodore W. and Phyllis E. (Matchett) Brothers.  David was a graduate of Springfield Trade School and then owned and operated Precise Machine Tool for over 50 years in Monson. For many years David and his wife Lynn wintered in Florida. Upon his retirement in 2013 they lived in Florida before moving to Brimfield in 2017. David enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a avid Redsox and Bruins fan.

David leaves his wife, Lynn (Coolong) Brothers; sons, Todd Brothers and wife, Erika of Agawam, Thomas Brothers of Westfield; daughters, Kelly Doyle and husband Wayne of Palmer and Kathy Brothers of Palmer; his Mother Phyllis Brothers of Wales; brothers Ronald Brothers of Wales, John Brothers and wife Nancy of North Conway, NH; a sister, Ann Chrabascz of Wales; five grandchildren, Victoria, Jillian, David-Michael, Isabella and Ethan along with many extended family members. David was predeceased by his father, Theodore W. Brothers.

The family would like to thank Overlook Hospice for their care and compassion during this difficult time, especially David's RN, Battina and his home health aid, Iesha. 

Visiting hours will be held Monday, December 3, 2018 from 5-8pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson, MA 01057.  A funeral service will be Tuesday, December 4, 2019 at 10am in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson.
