Francine G (Arooth) Cavanaugh

Chicopee/Monson-Francine G. (Arooth) Cavanaugh, 47, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021.  Francine was born May 19, 1975 to  James E. Arooth Sr and Carmen M.(Bernier) Arooth.  She was a graduate of Pathfinder Regional Technical High School receiving her diploma in horticulture. She continued her education and became a certified nurse attendant and worked at Monson Developmental Center and area nursing homes. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Monson.  Francine enjoyed word puzzles, crafting, and visiting with friends.  She especially enjoyed beach vacations with family.

Francine was predeceased by her mother Carmen Arooth in 1992. She leaves her daughter; Lisa M. Cavanaugh; her father, James E. Arooth, Sr.; a sister, Dena M. Plante and her husband Bill; a brother, James E. Arooth, Jr all of Monson; her partner, Wilfredo Cubi of Chicopee; her aunt, Suzanne Alden; cousins, Jill Arooth, John Arooth Jr and his family, Todd Alden and his family; a niece, Catherine Plante; and nephew, Michael Plante.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 7-9pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson, MA.  Funeral services will be held Friday November, 19, 2021 gathering at the funeral home beginning at 9am with funeral procession to St. Patrick's Church for Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery all in Monson. 

In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association at MDA.org.
