HOLYOKE - Herodita Vega, 69, of Holyoke passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Holyoke Medical Center. She was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and has been a resident here since 1988 She was primarily a homemaker and loved providing for her loving family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, volunteering at church activities, and creating a new dish for everyone to try.

She is survived by her husband, Jesus Gonzalez Colon; her children; Lucia, Maritza, Maribel, Marilyn,Jesús Jr., David, Yomari, Yaritza, her grandchildren Radames Jr., William Jr., Marangelly, Franchezka,Ezequiel,Ashley, Orlando, Yessenia, Javier, Jeremiah, Winter, Walter, Juan Joel and Yannelis and great grandchildren Arianna, Marianalis, Jacob, Valentina and Misael.

She also leaves her brother Benjamin Vega,Sister-in-law Leona Vega, her nephew Benjamin Vega Jr, and all her son in laws and her daughter in laws. A private burial service will be held at Forestdale West Cemetery. Please visit www.lombardfuneralhome.com for more details.
