Palmer- Hope Dorice (Favreau) Read, 65, passed away, Monday, October 4, 2021, at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Hope was born on July 28th, 1956 in Clinton, Massachusetts to the late Frank H. Favreau and Faith A. (Schumacher) (Favreau) Arsenault. She was a 1975 graduate of Tantasqua Regional High School in Sturbridge, MA and for many years worked as a machine operator. Hope enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting, and listening to country music.

Hope is survived by her husband, Warren R. Read; her mother, Faith Arsenault of Sturbridge; her daughters, Tina Purcell and her husband Patrick of Sutton, and Kimberly Read of Palmer; five grandchildren; a brother Michael Favreau and his wife Dana; and a sister MaryAnn Roso. Hope was predeceased by her daughter Tanya Benoit in 2010; a sister Greta Rose Favreau in 2016, and a sister Charity Ann Whitlock in 2003.
