Julia R (Lazarz) Henry

Wales-Julia R. (Lazarz) Henry, 85, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, surrounded by the love of family.  Julia was born in Ludlow, March 17, 1938 to the late Joseph and Mary (Gasiorek) Lazarz.  For a short time she worked at Buxton before being married to the love of her life William J. Henry.  They lived in Wilbraham before moving to Wales in 1976.  Julia loved family outings and Sunday drives stopping for a family picnic along the way. She and her husband raised five daughters. For a short period of time, Julia returned to work at Galileo Fiberoptic in Sturbridge. She was communicant of St. Christopher's Church in Brimfield. Julia enjoyed Polish picnics and listening to Polkas and Country Western Music.

Julia leaves her loving husband of 66 years, William J. Henry; their daughters, Debra Fernandes and John of Wales, Diane Heck and Mark of Wales, Donna Schoen and Harold of Florida, Darlene Carroll and Leroy of California, Doreen Deland and James of Monson; two sisters, Celia Zahusky of South Hadley, Dorothy Schlistka and Henry of Ludlow. Julia also leaves her grandchildren, Jeremy, April, Christine, Mark Jr, Nicole, Jacob, Zandra, Joshua and Jamie and six great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Julia was predeceased by seven of her siblings; George, Joseph Jr, Albert, Florence, May, Jenny and Joanne.

Services are entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home and are being held privately. Please omit flowers.
