Lynn Zorra Obituary

Monson-Lynn A. (Popik) Zorra, 73, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021. Lynn was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Mafalda (Lucente) Popik. Lynn lived in many areas of the country spending many years in Seakonk, MA and Southbridge before living in Monson. She was a foster Mom for many children over the years. Lynn enjoyed cooking and baking. Her specialties included clam chowder in a bread bowl and pizzelle Italian cookies. She was also a NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the Patriots. She bred huskies and enjoyed camping, relaxing in nature. Lynn spent many years coaching for the Special Olympics. She could be found coaching swimming, track & field, basketball, bowling and golf.

Lynn was predeceased by her husband, Everett E. Zorra. She leaves her children, Holli Zorra of Monson and Cana Zorra of Monson, Christopher Zorra and his wife Christine of Seakonk; a brother Denis Popik and his wife Joan of Ohio and two grandchildren.
