Margaret "Peggy" A (Partelo) Royce

Monson-Margaret "Peggy" A. (Partelo) Royce, 70, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 surrounded by love of family. Peggy was born June 3, 1952 in Winooski, VT to the late William E.  and Theresa L. ( St.Peter) Partelo.   Peggy was a graduate of Monson High School.  She then worked at Mass Mutual as a telephone systems analyst and retired after more than 30 years.  Peggy was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and a Corporator for the Monson Home for Aged People. She enjoyed crafting and for many years she had a booth at the annual Monson Arts Council craft show and at the Amherst Railroad Hobby Show.  Her biggest joy came from taking care of her family.

Margaret leaves her husband of 50 years, David T. Royce; their son, Matthew D. Royce and daughter, Meaghan E. Royce; three brothers, William E. Partelo Jr and his wife, Catherine, Peter G. Partelo and his wife Annette, and Michael J. Partelo; her Godmother, Patricia McCarron and her husband, James all of Monson. As well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.  Peggy was predeceased by her sister Christine E. Grinaski.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 4-7pm at Lombard Funeral Home in Monson.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 with the funeral procession forming at Lombard Funeral Home beginning at 9am for Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrick's Church.  Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers. memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
