Sharon L (Belisle) Griswold

Belchertown-Sharon L. (Belisle) Griswold, 74, passed away November 13, 2023 surrounded by love of family.  Sharon was born in Holyoke, May 28, 1949 to  Russell L. and Esther (Hickson) Belisle.  She was a graduate of Holyoke Catholic High School.  For many years she worked with the Holyoke Medical Group as a medical coder.

Sharon loved horses and was an accomplished equestrian. She trained and showed horses for many years.  She also enjoyed traveling, camping and spending the colder months in Florida.  She especially loved spending time on Merrit Island watching the rockets launch from NASA. In the quiet moments she often could be found reading.

Sharon leaves her loving husband of 55 years, Charles M. Griswold; a son, David A. Griswold and his wife Kimberly of Granby; sister, Colleen Raina Belisle of Granby and sister in-law Cindy Belisle of Alaska; two grandchildren, Tyler A. Griswold and his partner, Terra Hondrogen, Brooke K. Griswold and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Lari Belisle.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
